Many new facility improvements are underway. New tents and a showerhouse are our priorities. Remodeling has also begun on the Hilton, Richardson Health Lodge and Aldrich House. These projects enhance our ability to provide a safe and confortable environment for our children and programs while retaining our rustic feeling. In order to continue the momentum with these improvements we need support from people willing to help sponsor these projects.

How Else Can You Invest in Phantom Lake's Future?

The following Giving Plans are some of the ways you can invest in Phantom Lake YMCA Camp. Your gift to Phantom Lake YMCA Camp helps secure a strong future for our youth.

BEQUEST (Heritage Club)
Naming a bequest to Phantom Lake YMCA Camp Inc in your will ensures that we are able to continue to serve youth in a world with fewer places where they can really be kids. This may be a significant tax benefit to you and your family.

ENDOWMENT FUND
The flexible endowment allows you to donate through a combination of regular annual gifts and future planned gifts. This allows you to provide Phantom Lake YMCA Camp with all the benefits of a fully funded endowment without having to divest yourself of the total dollars until it is appropriate for you to do so. The purpose of the Fund is to provide long-range financial support for either operating expenses or capital expenses to allow us to continue our mission into the future. Funds may go to scholorships, facility maintenance and other objectives set up by donors.

LIFE INSURANCE
You make a gift of an existing life insurance policy by naming Phantom Lake YMCA Camp Inc as the beneficiary and owner.

LIFE INCOME AGREEMENT
A life income agreement allows you to make substantial gifts to Phantom Lake YMCA Camp Inc while reserving fixed amounts for use by a second beneficiary and/or during your lifetime, The gift annuity, pooled life income fund and charitable remainder trust are three types of life income agreements.

REVOCABLE LIVING TRUST
Phantom Lake YMCA Camp receives income for a specified number of years, after which the principal is returned to the donor or another individual. A lead trust may reduce current income tax liability and estate tax exposure in some cases.

SAVE OUR SHORE FUND
An ongoing initiative aiming to keep clean Phantom Lake's water, ensure good habitat for fish and wildlife, and preserve and protect the shore's natural scenic beauty. This fund helps maintain the existing rock walls for erosion and maintain vegetative health.

MATCHING COMPANY FUNDS
Contact your employer about matching your donation or possibly even doubling your donation. Ask them if they have a matching gift program and forward the paper work to camp.


How Can You Specify Your Gift?
