WALES – Mike and Meredy Hase owe a lot more than good memories of summer to the YMCA Phantom Lake Camp.
Both of them attended summer camps at Phantom Lake as children, and both worked there later on. In the summer of 1971, Meredy was a staff member as sailing director, thanks in part to her upbringing on the shores of Pewaukee Lake, and Mike was a counselor for boys’ camp when they met at the camp. They married in 1975.
